The Shriners Transportation Fund Recognized in the House of Commons

On 28 May 2012 the Shriners International and the British Columbia Shriners received an Honouring mention in a presentation to the Canadian House of Commons in Ottawa for the outstanding work our Shriner-Masons are doing around the world in general and in British Columbia specifically.

The presentation emphasized the sponsorship of the Shriners Hospital and the wonderful work in transporting the children and families to the hospital.

The statement was made by conservative member of the House of Commons representing the Ohenogan-Coquihalla District in British Columbia which was received by the House with a round of applause by all members.
